Partnership with TEEM
In 2005, the Friends for Africa Foundation helped TEEM (Theological Education by Extension in Malawi)
helped build 5 staff houses in Zomba. These houses are of great importance to an organization like TEEM because it helps them provide a safe, healthy and comfortable living environment for the staff and their families. The staff houses provide peace of mind for both the organization and the employees. It is important for an organization to remain focused on its mission. The importance of housing

Houses are maintained and repaired
Volker Glissmann (Director TEEM): 'We are very grateful for the help "Friends for Africa" has given us by building the 5 staff houses. We have had these houses since 2003 and we maintain these houses from the income generated. The houses are repaired regularly so that our staff can use these houses for many years to come'.
