Together we achieve our goals
Malawi is one of the top 3 poorest countries in the world. More than 65% of the population lives below the poverty line. Of the 21.2 million inhabitants (in 2021), an estimated 2.5 million are orphans, having lost their parents mostly due to HIV/AIDS. In addition, a large part of the population does not live near the big cities and has virtually no access to education.
At the Friends of Africa Foundation, our goal is to give children in Malawi (and Africa) a chance at a quality education and we could use some help with that. This can be in the form of donations, but there are also other ways to help. You can organise a campaign at school, at work or in your neighbourhood. Walk, run or cycle along with an existing event and get sponsored. Work as a volunteer in your hometown. You can also sponsor us as a company. Or think of a creative way that suits you.
While poverty and education affect more children in Malawi than ever before, we can also make a difference with more people than ever. For all those children who now lack quality education.
